Porsche Macan Review / History

Porsche Macan Generation 1 95B.1 2014 – 2018

Porsche added to its SUV range in 2014 with the introduction of the Macan, a mid-sized SUV, initially available as a 3.0l S, 3.6l turbo or a 3.0l Diesel. Porsche introduced the 7 speed duel clutch gearbox PDK as standard throughout the range to assist the lighter sportier nature of the Macan.
Further additions to the range saw the GTS release in 2015 with 355 BHP and 500 Nm of torque, sitting this model somewhere between the S and turbo variants. In 2016 (model year) Porsche introduced its base model Macan with a four cylinder 2.0l turbo charged engine, producing some 249 BHP and 370 NM of torque.
